Today for Thankful Thursdays, I am thankful for… the lightworkers!
Let’s be real… there aren’t many people out there in the world today that haven’t (for just one moment) been taken back or felt an emotion towards the news that hit the world yesterday with the US presidential election. As the social media wave of rhetoric continues to flow and will do for some time on this topic, let’s take a moment and be thankful for the lightworkers of this world!
I’m a realist, an empath, a peacekeeper. I seek truth. I find pleasure in love, joy and the here and now. I like to appreciate, to respect others views. To respect others in general – Full Stop. I like acts of kindness without compensation or gain. I have no time for bitterness or aggression. AND although I think the world is a much prettier place with unicorns, rainbows and palettes swathed in pastels… we all know that we can’t hold faith in those, as tempting as it would be!
What we can hold faith in however are the selfless souls who rise up to help our planet and heal the world and it’s population from the effects that fear ignites.
The lightworkers.
Change is something we all hope to see. Change on our terms, isn’t that right? But change comes in many differing forms and the terms are not clear. It comes bearing the costume of someone who many don’t like. Someone I personally don’t like. An energy that doesn’t fit with the vision we had for our future. But for some, it is a future they chose. The world is screaming for something new but it’s consequences are unknown. It’s outcome rippling negativity, uncertainty and fear.
The lightworkers of this world do not preach. They act out of kindness, love, peace and positivity. They do not ask for reward, they are the action takers. They are the movers. They are the shakers. Their purpose is bigger than what we can collectively imagine and yet it is achievable. Anything is achievable.
They believe in possibility.
The lightworkers are healers, often they don’t know it. They rise, unite and they laugh, they acknowledge. They cry. They feel. They know they have a job.
The lightworkers are YOU!
People often say be the change you want to see in the world, so let’s get to work! We have a job to do!
Share below how you are going to be the light and what thanks you give today?
With love, light and bundles of gratitude xx
