For today’s Thankful Thursdays, I am thankful… my friends are home for the holidays!
This week I’ve been spoilt!!! Why? Because some of my beautiful and closest friends have started returning home from overseas for the Christmas holidays! And the fun has already begun with my British fam-bam!!!
This weekend this beauty arrives home! Yes, I am outing her arrival to everyone but I am so god-damn excited that my best friend will be home! Enter happy dances!!!
When your closest friends all live far away than those who understand will know it’s like you are missing an arm. Sometimes not everyone gets your silly banter or jokes, and it’s in those moments when you wish your bestie was by your side secretly giggling because they ‘get you’, and they always have!
I’m excited for long chats, lots of giggles, adventures, belly cackles, food (’cause food is always involved), and random conversations about everything and nothing! Ohhhh the joy!
I love this time of the year because even if it’s fleeting I will be in the physical presence of the ones I cherish. It makes my heart so overjoyed with happiness!
