Today like most days I am thankful for… my Mum! I know we can all give thanks to our mums, they are pretty spesh figures in our lives but it’s days like these when you really take notice of all the things a parent does for you! Mum travels almost an hour each time I ask her to come and accompany me to a hospital appointment or a scan, and she sits and waits patiently (for hours at a time!), when I need a little extra help around the house, when I want to go shopping, when we go to the Coast or like today looking at wedding stuff! She knows when I want to talk and when I want my “zone out” time! She never hesitates in looking after our lil fur baby when we want to go away. And she always brings food… Hahahaha the way to anyones heart!
The small things are what makes a big difference! And even though I get angry, let loose with the odd f-bombs (cause the potty mouth comes out from time-to-time and that’s no lie) she laughs at me, loves me unconditionally and allows me to carry on with living the life I choose and being the free spirit that I am! So thank you mum for being there through the ups and the downs, waiting patiently and understanding that yes life can be pretty poop at times but it’s always so much better when it is supported and cherished and assisted with the ones that care for you the most! Celebrate the ones that support you and give you the helping hand when you need it, even if you get grumpy and push them away… They are just there to love you and care! We all need to remind ourselves of that! Love you mum!
