I am thankful for… Coming home to Mister (aka Winston)!
I’ve had a few weeks hiatus from my Thankful Thursdays and you all know it’s because I needed the head space to plan and prepare for our wedding and honeymoon. I won’t deny I needed the time but I also have to say it’s a nice positive feeling being back on board and not having to think about run sheets etc! Winston features a great deal in my Thankful Thursdays and it’s because he’s a pretty epic part of Ant’s and my life! So when we went away last week for our honeymoon we totally missed him! We were like… Mister would love it here, Mister would be a big sook with this cold weather, Mister looks like a Tassie Devil… And sounds like one too Hmmmm Hahaha!!!
When I got home and did the journey out to my folks I swear Winston and I had a pretty sweet rolling around on the ground, excited jumping, and play biting (him not me…), happy cuddle moments that haven’t really stopped since we have been home. And yesterday when I returned home from my rather long treatment session at the hospital he knew that his fur-mama needed love and cuddles rather than walks and playtime! So today I truly appreciate the bond that my little French fur-ball and I have and I couldn’t be more happier that he came into our lives when we needed him most! Coming home to him makes the sadness of leaving holidays … soooo much more ok! Hehehe!
