For Thankful Thursdays today, I am thankful for… Our blanket!
Last weekend we received this amazing and beautifully designed blanket that Ant’s mum has crotchet for us!
Three years she has worked on this mammoth project for Ant and I and we had no idea!!!! Three years people!!!!
What dedication!!!
Ant’s mum’s name is Jeanette and she’ll probably get angry at me for posting this, but her dedication to creating is next level! She is an amazing seamstress and all round caring and loving family member, mother, grandmother, sister and friend! She is always thinking about how she can do something for others without asking for anything in return.
Totally selfless she is!!!
Handmade creations always make my heart happy because they are made 100% from a place of love.
I remember when I was younger watching my Nana knit and crotchet. I was always intrigued by the craft. When I look back on the pieces I have acquired and treasured over the years it is with fond memories that I remember those moments that we shared.
Just like then I will always look to this beautiful blanket and be connected to new memories and I can’t wait to snuggle up in its beautiful soft luxuriousness!!! This one definitely requires an ‘Off Limits’ siren for Winston, our French bulldog!
Thank you Jeanette, Ant and I will treasure it forever!

With love, light and bundles of gratitude xx
